Governors
The Twyford Trust is governed by a Board of Directors which is made up of Church of England representatives, the chairs of school governing bodies, elected staff representatives, elected parent representatives and the Executive Head Teacher. The Directors appoint people who are locally based to serve on the Local Governing Body for each School in the Trust.
The Ada Lovelace Local Governing Body is made up of local Church of England representatives, elected staff representatives, elected parent representatives, co-opted Governors, a Directors' representative and the Associate Head Teacher.
Currently the Chair of the Local Governing Body is Mrs Emma Harniman.

Dame Alice Hudson
CEO
Before becoming CEO, Alice had been Executive Headteacher of Twyford CofE Academies Trust since 2012. She was previously Headteacher at Twyford CofE High School since 2002. She joined Twyford in 2000 as Deputy Headteacher then progressed to Acting Headteacher. Prior to Twyford High School she was Deputy Headteacher at Brentside High School, and previous to that she taught at Central Foundation Boys’ School in Islington and Maria Fidelis School in Euston. Alice was educated at Slough Girls’ High School, Leighton Park School and St Hilda’s Oxford where she read English.
Keir Smith
Headteacher
Graduated as a Geography teacher from the Institute of Education in 1995. First teaching post was at Cardinal Wiseman and was appointed as an Assistant Head Teacher at Twyford High School in 2000. He was Deputy Head at Twyford from 2003 and was awarded the NPQH Qualification in 2008, which led to his appointment as Associate Head Teacher at William Perkin CofE High School in 2013. He was appointed as Headteacher for Ada Lovelace CofE High School in September 2019.
Kate Brewer
Senior Deputy Headteacher, Staff Delivery and Development
Graduated from the University of Maynooth, Ireland with a Double Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics in 2009. Completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Bangor University in 2010. Joined the Twyford Trust in 2015 and led the Mathematics Department at William Perkin to their first set of GCSE results in in 2018 in her role as Head of Maths. Kate joined the Ada Lovelace Senior Leadership Team in 2019 in her role as Assistant Headteacher. She was appointed to her role as Deputy Headteacher, Staff Delivery and Development for Ada Lovelace CofE High School in September 2021.
Matthew Cowing
Deputy Headteacher, Senior Trust Lead for the Quality of Education
Graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Physics before graduating as a Science teacher from the London Metropolitan University in 2007. Matt started his teaching career at Hounslow Manor school in West London before moving to Ealing where he held positions of Head of Physics, Head of Chemistry and Lead Practitioner. He was Head of Science for five years at a local school before joining Ada Lovelace in 2019 in an Assistant Head Teacher role. Matt has now been appointed to the role of Deputy Headteacher.
Ronnie Halton
Deputy Headteacher, Pastoral
Graduated from the University of Exeter in 2011 and trained as a Geography teacher in 2011/12 with St Mary's in Twickenham. Ronnie completed a MSc in the History of International Relations in 2012/13 with the London School of Economics. Ronnie previously worked at All Hallows Catholic School in Surrey for nine years, progressing from an NQT to serve as a Head of Year, Head of Department and most recently as Assistant Headteacher. Ronnie was appointed at Ada Lovelace CofE School in September 2022 and became Deputy Head Teacher in 2023.
Jessica Adler
School SENCO
Jessica graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Social and Political Sciences. Upon finishing her university studies, she worked for five years as a presentation planner, researcher and producer at BBC World News. In 2016 she trained as an RE teacher through the School Direct scheme, based at William Perkin CofE High School where, on qualification, she obtained her first teaching post. Jessica gained a SENCO qualification in 2017 and has also been responsible for implementing the Ethics programme at Ada Lovelace CofE High School.
Josephine Lyon
Assistant Headteacher, Quality of Education
Josephine graduated from the University of Oxford in 2016 with a degree in French and German and trained as an MFL teacher in 2017/18 at the Institute of Education. She previously worked at William Perkin High School as Acting Head of Modern Foreign Languages before becoming Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Ada Lovelace in 2020. Josephine was appointed to Assistant Headteacher, Quality of Education in September 2023.
Megan Bryant
Assistant Headteacher for Key Stage 3 (Maternity Leave)
Megan graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015 with a degree in History. She completed the Teach First Development Programme in Nottingham where she was promoted to Head of History at Bluecoat Wollaton Academy in 2017. On relocating to London, Megan worked as Director of Learning at Kensington Aldridge Academy where she was responsible for the behaviour, attendance and attainment of year 8 students. Megan joined Ada Lovelace in September 2020, as Head of Humanities. Since 2021, she has been responsible for the training of early career teachers at the school. Megan was appointed as Assistant Headteacher for the Lower School (Year 7 & 8) in September 2023.
Joe Willmott
Acting Assistant Headteacher for Key Stage 3 (Year 8 & 9)
Joe graduated from the University of Leeds in 2018 with a degree in International History and Politics. He completed the Teach First Development Programme in North London where he was promoted to Deputy Head of Year in 2020, and then to Head of Year in 2021 at Ark John Keats Academy, Enfield. After almost three years as Head of Year, Joe was appointed to the position of Year 11 Lead at Ada Lovelace CofE High School in June 2024, where he was responsible for the progress and progression of Year 11 students. He then became Acting Assistant Headteacher in Autumn 2025.
Ethan Fahy
Assistant Headteacher Upper School, Pastoral Progress and Progression (Year 10 & 11)
Ethan graduated from King's College London before training as a Chemistry teacher through the UCL Institute of Education's Schools Direct route in 2015. After a number of years in East London progressing to Head of Key Stage 4 Science, he returned to West London in 2020 and was appointed at Ada Lovelace CofE school as 2i/c in Science before being promoted to Head of Science that same year. Ethan has since been appointed as Assistant Headteacher for the Upper School (Year 10 and 11) leading on Pastoral Progress and Progression.
Pia Dixon
Assistant Headteacher, SMSC and Personal Development
Pia read Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge, before then completing her PGCE in RE at the Institute of Education, UCL. She is West London born and bred and is passionate about serving the local community. Pia previously worked at William Perkin from 2016, taking through their first GCSE RE cohorts, before joining Ada Lovelace in 2020. Pia started her time at Ada Lovelace as SMSC Lead and Head of RE and is now Assistant headteacher for SMSC and Personal Development, leading on chaplaincy, wider learning and PSHE/RSE.
George Green
Head of Year 7
Graduated from the University of Bournemouth with a degree in Sport Psychology in 2018. George then graduated from the University of Buckingham as a Physical Education teacher in 2020. George started his teaching career in the Twyford Trust, at Ealing Fields before joining Ada Lovelace CofE High School. In his role as Head of Year 11 he led the school's first cohort of students to their GCSEs in the summer of 2023. George has now been appointed to the role of Head of Year 7.
