How to Apply
We are inviting applications from both internal and external students to join our new Sixth Form at Ada Lovelace CofE High School. Sixth Form Open Evening took place on Thursday 27th November 2025 6pm to 8pm.
The Sixth Form application for 2026 Entry must be submitted through the online application form below. Please be advised we will not be accepting paper applications.
The closing deadline for External applications is Wednesday 17th December 2025 and the closing deadline for Internal applications is Monday 19th January 2026. Late applications will be considered.
When you do apply, please note that before you begin completing your form ensure that you have the following information to hand:
1. Applicant details and contact information
2. Parent(s)/carer(s) details and contact information
3. Current school (including Head of Year 11 contact details)
4. Previous and current courses of study (including grades already achieved and predicted grades for current courses of study)
5. T Level course choice
Upon completion of the online application form, both the applicant student and parent/carer email address will receive an automatic email confirming that your application has been received along with a pdf copy of your application for future reference.
If for any reason you do not receive a confirmation email, are experiencing technical difficulties or you wish amend your course selection, please email admissions@adalovelace.org.uk with your application ID number, full name and date of birth. If you submit more than one application, we will accept your most recent submission as your active application.
Application to Ada Lovelace Sixth Form
Preference is given to students who attended the school in Years 7-11, followed by students currently in Year 11 in other Trust schools and then from other schools in the wider community.

Below are the Subject Specifications for Laboratory Science and Digital Software Development T Levels along with the Professional Skills Programme. The Professional Skills Programme is a weekly programme aimed to develop professional skills and experiences to ensure you are ready to stand out from the crowd on applications, in interviews, and during work placements.
Conditional Offer Information
This bursary fund is made available from the government through the Department for Education – to provide assistance to students whose access to, or completion of, education is inhibited by financial constraints or barriers. Students will be funded to reflect the amount of support they need to participate based on an assessment of the actual participation needs and costs they have, subject to the total number of applicants. Funding is limited.
Applications for the 16-19 Ada Lovelace Bursary for the academic year 2025-26 are now open.
All students who believe they are eligible for an Ada Lovelace 16-19 Bursary will need to complete an online application form and submit supporting evidence, including those who may have previously been in receipt of an Ada Lovelace Bursary.
All applicants must read the 16-19 Bursary Policy which outlines the eligibility criteria of a Ada Lovelace Bursary.
Supporting evidence must be emailed to wknox@adalovelace.org.uk. Applications will not be processed without evidence.
