This bursary fund is made available from the government through the Department for Education – to provide assistance to students whose access to, or completion of, education is inhibited by financial constraints or barriers. Students will be funded to reflect the amount of support they need to participate based on an assessment of the actual participation needs and costs they have, subject to the total number of applicants. Funding is limited.
Applications for the 16-19 Ada Lovelace Bursary for the academic year 2026-27 are now open.
All students who believe they are eligible for an Ada Lovelace 16-19 Bursary will need to complete an online application form and submit supporting evidence, including those who may have previously been in receipt of an Ada Lovelace Bursary.
All applicants must read the 16-19 Bursary Policy which outlines the eligibility criteria of a Ada Lovelace Bursary.
Supporting evidence must be emailed to mdusting@adalovelace.org.uk. Applications will not be processed without evidence.
