Last Friday, Ada Lovelace organised a very special trip for 30 Year 9 girls to visit the York Road offices of IBM.
The girls participated in an Agile Thinking workshop which required them to work as a team. They were able to see the Quantum computer up close, see Spot the Dog in action and immerse themselves in the Mayflower room.
Finally, a panel of all female Early Professionals from IBM sat on a careers panel and answered questions from our students about their career paths and choices.
The group of students found the visit extremely insightful and were buzzing on their journey back to school. Thank you to IBM and especially Vikki Bradney-Spencer for your time and genorosity.
