This summer marked the first cohort of T Level students finishing their courses and getting their results. As one of the first providers to deliver T Levels we’re so proud to be marking this moment and celebrating the success of our students. We started offering two T Levels in Digital Software Development and Laboratory Science in 2023. We have now expanded our T Level offer to include Accounting, available from September 2025.

Between them, our students achieved 1 Distinction, 18 Merits and 2 Passes. 95% of students achieved their target grade or higher – an impressive statistic amongst Post-16 providers!  They are moving on to such a wide range of next steps, with some going straight into the workplace and others starting Degree Apprenticeships or going to university.

Here are some highlights:

3 of our T Level students have been offered Amazon Degree Apprenticeships which means they will be earning a very significant salary working at Amazon while studying for their degree, which is fully funded by Amazon from Exeter University. To put this into context – top degree apprenticeships can receive up to 1,500 applicants per vacancy. Completing impressive 9-week work placements has enabled our T Level students to really stand out from the crowd and develop unique skills essential for the workplace.

One of our Laboratory Science T Level students completed placements at a veterinary hospital and leading kidney transplant laboratory as part of her T Level course.  She received offers from all 5 of the top universities she applied to and is now off to her fist choice Middlesex University to study Veterinary Nursing.

The Laboratory Science T Level qualification has also enabled another of our T Level students to continue to pursue her dream career in pharmacy having completed work placements at Health Service Laboratories and pharmacies during her time at Ada Lovelace. The student received 5 university offers and has gone to her first choice Russel Group University of Nottingham to study M-Pharmacy.

Head of Sixth Form Mr Knox commented: ‘I am so incredibly proud of our pioneering first cohort of T Level students. They have shown incredible work ethic and resilience in coping with a new course, and a mature understanding of developing themselves as rounded young adults who are ready for the workplace. More than this, they have turned into polite, well-mannered young professionals who will continue to make us proud as we see them grow.’

We wish our first cohort of T Level graduates the best of luck in the next stage of their professional lives. We will share news of their progress here in due course!
