On Friday 24th January, a group of Year 11s and Year 12s attended a trip to IBM's London Office where they were given a tour of IBM's Innovation Studio. The students who attended had a chance to see the Robotic Dog, the Quantum Computer and The Immersive Storytelling room features the Mayflower Autonomous Ship (MAS). They also took part in the Agile workshop and competed against each other.
The students engaged fantastically with all the different parts of the IBM trip. They asked intelligent and technical questions during the various demonstrations and they asked probing career-focussed questions during the final section with IBM employees.
IBM put on an excellent afternoon for our students and they really gained a lot from this experience.
We look forward to future trips to the Innovation Studio in the future as the school continues to benefit from its unique relationship with IBM.
