Today, IBM came to the school to deliver a Professional Skills workshop to all our Year 10 students.

IBM delivered their workshop to each tutor group, highlighting the importance of presenting skills/nonverbal communication skills to get them one step ahead of their peers. They learnt how to be aware of their body language, posture, eye contact, voice, appearance and facial expressions. This interactive session asked our Year 10s to consider examples of when nonverbal communication might be important to consider, for example, when delivering a presentation to ensure clarity and engagement with the audience.

The workshop was well received by our students and we are very fortunate to have IBM as our partner to deliver these key messages. Thank you IBM.
