All students arrived bright and early. Unexpectedly the fire alarm went off in the morning, so they experienced the full evacuation process before the lectures began; an unexpected but useful introduction to campus procedures.

They were taken on a short tour around the campus, followed by sitting in on a Logic Theory session, where they engaged in tasks involving logic operations using binary.

The students were kindly given some UWL goodies: a UWL mug with a tea sachet, a UWL bag containing post-its and pens, as well as a Mathematics magazine featuring riddles, activities, and insights into current mathematics research. The magazine is published by UCL.

Later, they attended a Cost Planning and Design Economics session, where they were highly engaged - the T-Level Accounting students particularly appreciated this part of the day.

We also took a group photo outside, with the new façade of the building.
