Four students at Ada Lovelace were thrilled to work with renowned children's author Michael Rosen and Ealing composer (and ESO member) Laura Rossi on their new work for massed choirs and orchestras ‘Ada in Ealing’. The work brings Ada Lovelace back into modern day Ealing where the students tell her about the changes that have happened in Ealing since she lived in Fordbrook House, and will be premiered in a concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 24th June 2025.  The piece celebrates the rich musical and cultural history of Ealing as well as more poignant moments as Rosen delves into the history of the people of Ealing over the last 150 years.

Alongside the conductor of Ealing Symphony Orchestra, John Gibbons, the students rehearsed for their solo roles in this piece at our school which is named after Ada Lovelace!
